3. Usage Instructions
A. Preparation & Safety
Safety First:
- Disconnect Power: Always unplug before changing bits.
- Protective Gear: Use goggles, dust masks, and ear protection.
- Secure Workpiece: Use clamps to prevent wood movement.
B. Bit Installation
- Use the provided wrench to loosen the collet nut.
- Insert the router bit (ensure 2/3 to 3/4 of the shank is inside).
- Tighten the nut securely to prevent bit slippage.
C. Depth Adjustment
- Release the locking lever on the side.
- Lower the tool body until the bit touches the wood surface.
- Use the depth gauge to set your desired cut depth, then re-lock the lever.
D. Operation
- Hold the tool firmly with both hands.
- Turn it on and wait for full speed before contacting the wood.
- Move the router steadily against the direction of the bit's rotation.
- Lifts the tool only after the motor has stopped completely.
